Lowcountry Hurricane Protection & Shutters offers removable storm panels that provide the most cost efficient protection against violent winds, flying objects, and debris. Storm panels are the most economical alternative to its other more convenient systems.

     Our panels have been engineered to meet the most stringent wind codes in the country and have been reviewed and accepted by the Miami-Dade County product control division, Florida Building Code, and the International Building Code.

     Clear Panels

       The clear transparent panel is the best option for a cost efficient solution to storm protection.  Clear panels have Miami-Dade county approved protection without sacrificing light inside your residence.  This system can be installed by the homeowner from inside or outside of the opening.   The transparent panel is made of a polycarbonate resign and has smooth edges unlike the other panel styles.

                                                                                                                      Aluminum Panels

      The .050" corrugated aluminum storm panel is light weight and very durable.  These panels offer excellent protection with an easy installation.  They can be installed from the inside or outside of the residence.  Aluminum panels will never rust, rot or deteriorate.  The tracks and headers are powder coated and installed with stainless steal fasteners to insure a lifetime of protection.

     Steel Panels

     Galvanized Steel panels are also available is the 24-gauge galvanized steel panel.  This style of panel is more for the commercial projects due to the fact that they are much cheaper but are significantly heavier.  The galvanized panels are just as durable as the aluminum,  just not homeowner friendly.
